Our Story

Wanting to understand the unmanaged emotions, duplicity, and dysfunctional behaviour she experienced during 15 years as a choreographer, dance teacher and producer, Jennifer Day turned to the study of psychology and stress, Becoming a counsellor in the ‘real world’, she discovered that dysfunction was not unique to show business (!) – She also discovered that most people want help ….. but not therapy!

For 9 years she studied successful approaches to the practical management of stress and emotions, then combined the best of all to develop ‘in-the-moment-solutions’ for people to move on from their regrettable actions and dysfunctions, get to grips with their feelings, tap into their strengths and unleash their possibilities for being where they want to be, emotionally and professionally!

The resulting Applied Emotional Mastery® has been the subject of research studies and has been coached and taught to thousands of individuals, executives, physicians, students, teachers and parents in the US and the UK, including for the  University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, UCLA Berkeley, USF, CityYear (USA), PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLC, and Southampton LEA (UK).

Children Believe Inc. is an organization dedicated to facilitating and promoting positive change in the lives of children, primarily by working with the adults in children's lives. Through its web-site and catalog, Children Believe has offered resources, information, education, trainings, personal coaching, newsletters, books, games, gifts, art and a unique clothing line, - all to support and assist, (and entertain!) parents, teachers, and others with children in their lives, since 1998.

Founded by Jennifer Day and her daughter artist Tammy Day, Children Believe Inc. offered family workshops and family retreats in Hawaii until 2002, when they teamed with other kindred spirits on the islands to organize and produce the 2nd International Spirit of Learning - Soul in Education Conference (following the first conference organized by the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland). Held on Kauai, the conference offered world renowned speakers such as Joseph Chilton Pearce, Linda Lantieri, Jack Miller, Peggy O'Mara, Dr Martin
Brokenleg and Lindamichelle Baron. Attracting more than 200 participants from around the world, including Napal, Thailand, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, England, Scotland, Canada, Japan, Hawaii, and the United States, the conference also included a Youth Forum of 16 young people from all over the US. In 2003, Children Believe Inc. re-located to Florida, USA. Children Believe Inc. is currently focused on developing new products for the Applied Emotional Mastery™ being used and sold in both the US and the UK.
